Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

The Organization of American States (OAS) proudly commemorates Pan American Day 2025, celebrating 135 years of the Inter-American System's history.
Observed annually on April 14, Pan American Day marks the founding of the International Union of American Republics in 1890, the originator to the OAS. Established to promote cooperation, peace, and mutual understanding among the countries of the hemisphere, this day serves as a reminder of the shared history, values, and aspirations that unite the member states of the Americas.
To mark the occasion, OAS Secretary General Luis Almagro said, “The principles of unity, solidarity, and cooperation are the foundation of the OAS. Pan American Day recognizes these principles and their importance in fostering a strong and united hemisphere.”
Today, the OAS continues to play a central role in promoting peace, democracy, multilateral cooperation, and human rights throughout the hemisphere.
