Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

OAS Hosts Policy Roundtable on “Mediation and Dialogue in the 21st Century”

The Organization of American States (OAS) will host on Friday, November 8 at 14:30 EST (19:30 GMT) the 53rd OAS Policy Roundtable, titled “Mediation and Dialogue in the 21st Century.”
The event will begin with welcoming remarks by José Miguel Insulza, Secretary General of the OAS. Next, Stephen Jackson, Team Leader and Senior Political Affairs Officer in the Mediation Support Unit of the Policy and Mediation Division of the United Nations Department of Political Affairs will present the “United Nations Guidance for Effective Mediation. The presentation of the Practical Guide on Democratic Dialogue will be made by Christopher Hernández-Roy, Director of the Department of Sustainable Democracy and Special Missions of the OAS.
The Roundtable will also feature a panel discussion on the issue featuring Luigi R. Einaudi, Former OAS Secretary General and Distinguished Visiting Fellow at the Institute for National Strategic Studies of the National Defense University (United States); and Francesc Vendrell, Adjunct Professor of International Relations at the Paul H. Nitze School of International Studies of Johns Hopkins University, and former Personal Representative of the UN Secretary General.
Following a question and answer session, the event will conclude with closing remarks by the Secretary for Political Affairs of the OAS, Kevin Casas-Zamora.
