Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

OAS to Debate “Making Migration a Positive Factor for Development in the Americas” at 52nd Lecture of the Americas

The Organization of American States (OAS) will host on Monday, September 30, the 52nd Lecture of the Americas, which will focus on the issue “Making Migration a Positive Factor for Development in the Americas,” and will be held in the Hall of the Americas at the headquarters of the Organization in Washington DC.
The OAS Secretary General, José Miguel Insulza, will deliver the welcoming remarks at the event, before a presentation by William Lacy Swing, Director General of the International organization for Migration (IOM), and comments by Susan F. Martin, Director of the Institute for the Study of International Migration of Georgetown University. Following this there will be a question and answer session. The closing remarks to the event will be delivered by Sherry Tross, Executive Secretary for Integral Development of the OAS.
