Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

Presentation of “Global Talent 2021 – The New Geography of Talent: the Case of Mexico”

The Organization of American States (OAS), along with the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM), the Federal Government of Mexico, the Business Coordinating Council of Mexico (CCE), and the Center for Private Sector Economic Studies (CEESP) of Mexico will present the study “Global Talent 2021 – The New Geography of Talent: the Case of Mexico,” tomorrow, Thursday, September 20, at 10:00 (local time) (15:00 GMT), at the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education in Mexico City.
The report, produced by the consulting firm Oxford Economics (OE), aims to build awareness of the role of human talent as an engine of sustainable development; provide information and analysis that will help strengthen the design, implementation, and quality of public policies on competitiveness, education, investment, technology and labor, and private sector strategies in human resources and investment. In addition, it aims to advance in the analysis and discussion of the topic which will allow for input into the specialized forums for dialogue that take place within the OAS framework.
The study is based on a global survey of 352 leading multinational firms and their workforce needs, with an extensive economic modeling of 46 countries, across 21 industry sectors.
The Director of the Institute of Public Administration at Monterrey Institute of Technology, Otto Granados; and the Executive Secretary for Integral Development of the OAS, Jorge Saggiante will deliver the opening remarks.
