Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

OAS, US State Department and USAID Host Conference to Promote Youth Development and Crime Prevention in the Americas

The Organization of American States (OAS), the United States Department of State and the United States Agency for International Development will host tomorrow, Tuesday, June 28, 2011, the Youth Development and Crime Prevention Conference, with the goal of analyzing different initiatives on the issue taken by governments, civil society organizations and the private sector in the region.
The event, being held only weeks after the OAS General Assembly in El Salvador under the theme “Citizen Security in the Americas” and only days after the summit on Security in Central America in Guatemala, will feature presentations by the OAS Secretary General, José Miguel Insulza; the Assistant Secretary for Western Hemisphere Affairs at the State Department, Arturo Valenzuela; and the Assistant Administrator for Latin America and the Caribbean at USAID, Mark Feierstein.
