Each year the OAS Secretary General publishes a proposed Program-Budget for the coming calendar year. The OAS General Assembly meets in a Special Session to approve the Program-Budget. Find these documents from 1998-2013 here.
Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

VII OAS Private Sector Forum to Be Held in El Salvador in the Framework of the General Assembly

The VII OAS Private Sector Forum of the Organization of American States (OAS) is to be held June 2 and 3 at the Sheraton Presidente Hotel of El Salvador with the theme “Competitiveness and Security for Development” in the framework of the 41st OAS General Assembly.
At the two-day event will participate the Secretary General of the OAS, José Miguel Insulza; the Minister of Foreign Affairs of El Salvador, Hugo Martínez; the Minister of the Economy of El Salvador, Héctor Dada; and numerous experts and private sector representatives from the Americas. Among other entities, the following will participate: the Private Sector of the Americas, Business Foundation for Social Action (FUNDEMAS), “Federación de Cámaras y Asociaciones Industriales Centroamericanas y de República Dominicana” (FECAICA), “Asociación de Industriales Latinoamericanos” (AILA), and The Business Technical Advisory Committee on Labor Matters (CEATAL).
The event will be inaugurated on June 2 at 14:30 local time (20:30 GMT) by the Minister of the Economy of El Salvador, Héctor Dada, and the Vice President of the Private Sector of the Americas, Enrique de Obarrio. Secretary General Insulza will participate in both the opening and closing ceremonies of the event on June 3 at 8:30 (14:30 GMT) and 18:00 (0:00 GMT of Saturday), respectively.
The OAS Private Sector Forum is an event that brings together hundreds of business leaders in the entire hemisphere. It is organized annually by the OAS General Secretariat and the host country of the General Assembly. The Forum was launched in June 2005, and its objective is to formulate recommendations and propositions on related incentives under central theme of the Assembly, formally presented to the foreign ministers by representatives of the private sector.
