Each year the OAS Secretary General publishes a proposed Program-Budget for the coming calendar year. The OAS General Assembly meets in a Special Session to approve the Program-Budget. Find these documents from 1998-2013 here.
Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

OAS Organizes II Inter-American Congress on the Environmental Rule of Law in Santiago de Chile

The II Inter-American Congress on the Environmental Rule of Law will be held in Santiago, Chile on September 4-6, focused on a discussion of the challenges faced by the countries of the region in developing peaceful, just and inclusive societies free of pollution in the framework of the 2030 agenda for sustainable development.
The event will take place at the Palacio de los Tribunales, and will be opened by the President of the Supreme Court of Chile, Hugo Dolmestch at 9:30 local time (12:30 GMT); it will also include the participation of the Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), Luis Almagro; and the President of the Supreme Court of Justice of Argentina, Ricardo Lorenzetti; the Minister of the Superior Court of Justice of Brazil, Antonio Benjamín de Vasconcellos; and the Minister of the Supreme Court of Chile, Sergio Muñoz, who are OAS Goodwill Ambassadors on Environmental Justice.
The Secretary General of the OAS will deliver the closing address for the Congress, together with the President of the Supreme Court of Chile and other personalities, on Wednesday, September 6 at 12:15 local time (15:15 GMT).
The National Public Prosecutor of Chile, Jorge Abbot, the Comptroller General of the Republic of Chile, Jorge Bermudez and the President of the Senate of Chile, Andrés Larraín, will also participate, among other judges, parliamentarians and academics.
The Congress is organized by the OAS, and has the support of the Judicial Branch of Chile; United Nations (UN) Environment; the World Commission on Environmental Law of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN); the World Judicial Institute of the Environment and the Environmental Law Center of the Faculty of Law of the University of Chile.
