OAS Permanent Council Holds Dialogue Meeting With Permanent Observers

The Permanent Council of the Organization of American States will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, May 7, at 14:00 EDT (18:00 GMT) in the Hall of the Americas at OAS headquarters in Washington, DC., dedicated to the Permanent Observers accredited to Hemispheric Organization.

Main speakers will be OAS Secretary General, Luis Almagro; the Chair of the Permanent Council and Permanent Representative of the United States, Ambassador Carlos Trujillo, and the OAS Counselor for Organizational Development and Management for Results, Luis Porto.

The session will also include presentations by permanent observers from Spain, France, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Sweden, the European Union, Italy, Switzerland, China and Japan.
