OAS Permanent Council to Discuss the Humanitarian Crisis in Haiti

The Permanent Council of the Organization of American States (OAS) will hold an extraordinary virtual session on Friday, August 20 at 11:00 EDT (15:00 GMT) "to get updated about the humanitarian crisis in Haiti."

The meeting will be attended by:

  • The Prime Minister of Haiti, Ariel Henry;
  • the Vice President and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Colombia, Marta Lucía Ramírez;
  • the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Human Mobility of Ecuador, Mauricio Montalvo;
  • the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Panama, Erika Mouynes;
  • the Secretary General of the OAS, Luis Almagro;
  • the Executive President-elect of the CAF -Development Bank of Latin America, Sergio Díaz-Granados;
  • and the Vice President for Countries of the Inter-American Development Bank, Richard Martinez.
