OAS Permanent Council to Learn about Progress on Equity and Social Inclusion in Paraguay, and Receive Report of the Electoral Mission in Bolivia

The Permanent Council of the Organization of American States (OAS) will hold a regular meeting on Wednesday, June 20 at 10:00 EDT (14:00 GMT) in Simon Bolivar Hall at OAS headquarters in Washington DC, to hear a presentation by the Minister-Executive Secretary of the Secretariat for Social Action of Paraguay, Hector Ramón Cárdenas, receive the final report of the mission of experts deployed in Bolivia for the judicial elections of December 3, 2017, and to commemorate Americas Children and Youth Day, among other issues.

Minister-Executive Secretary Cárdenas will make a presentation on “Social development commitment: Equity and Social Inclusion: Overcoming inequalities for more inclusive societies.”
