OAS and Rotary Club of Washington Global Host Conference on “Migrants and Refugees in the Americas in the Context of the COVID-19 Pandemic”

The Organization of American States (OAS) and the Rotary Club of Washington Global will host TOMORROW, TUESDAY, JUNE 23RD AT 10:30 EST (14:30 GMT) the Conference “Migrants and Refugees in the Americas in the Context of the COVID-19 Pandemic: Challenges y Multisectoral Solutions”.

The event will feature opening remarks from:

  • OAS Secretary General, Luis Almagro
  • Rotary International Secretary General, John Hewko
  • IOM Special Envoy for the Response to the Venezuelan Migrant and Refugee Situation, Diego Beltrand

Also to deliver remarks during the event:

  • Minister of Foreign Affairs of El Salvador, Alexandra Hill
  • Minister of Foreign Affairs, of Colombia, Claudia Blum

The event will include a panel discussion on “Multisectoral approaches to migrant and refugee flows in the Americas”:
