AMBASSADOR ALBERT RAMDIN OUTLINE HIS VISION OF THE OAS MAY 25

Ambassador Albert R. Ramdin will be received at a special session of the Permanent Council of the Organization of American States (OAS), on Wednesday, May 25, at 10: 00 a.m. Ambassador Ramdin is a candidate for the post of Assistant Secretary General of the OAS.

Ramdin is currently an ambassador-at-large and special advisor to the government of Suriname on Western Hemisphere affairs. He has also served as Suriname’s Permanent Representative to the OAS and as Assistant Secretary General of the Guyana-based Caribbean Community (CARICOM).
