OAS Permanent Council to Receive Report on Elections in Guyana and to Discuss Preparations for General Assembly in the Framework of COVID-19

The Permanent Council of the Organization of American States (OAS) will hold a virtual regular meeting on Wednesday, May 13, at 10:00 EDT (14:00 GMT) to receive the preliminary report by the Chief of the Electoral Observation Mission in Guyana, Bruce Golding, on the elections that took place on March 2, 2020 and the preparations for the upcoming General Assembly in the framework of the COVID-19 pandemic, among other topics.
