Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

Press Conference at the VIII Meeting of Ministers of Justice or other Ministers or Attorneys General of the Americas

A press conference will be held at 12:30 local time (15:30 GMT) tomorrow, Friday, February 26, with the participation of Brazil’s Minister of Justice, Luiz Paulo Teles Ferreira Barreiro; the Assistant Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), Albert Ramdin; and the OAS Secretary for Legal Affairs, Jean Michel Arrighi. The event will take place after the closing ceremony of the VIII Meeting of Ministers of Justice or other Ministers or Attorneys General of the Americas
Issues debated during the meeting include: judicial and legal cooperation at the hemispheric level, specifically those related to mutual assistance on criminal matters, extradition, cybercrime, human trafficking, transnational organized crime, victim and witness protection, prison and penitentiary policy, forensic investigation and family and child rights.
The press conference will offer simultaneous interpreting in four languages (English, Spanish, Portuguese and French).
