The Inter-American Commission on Human Rights will give a press conference on Friday, March 17, at 11 a.m., to report on the results of its latest three-week session.
The Commission has been meeting at the headquarters of the Organization of American States (OAS) since February 27. It has held more than 60 hearings to examine the human rights situation in various countries of the region and to consider petitions, individual cases or precautionary measures in situations of particular seriousness or urgency.
