Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

OAS POLICY ROUNDTABLE - POST-SUMMIT BRIEFING: “A NEW BEGINNING IN INTER-AMERICAN RELATIONS?”

The Organization of American States (OAS) is organizing a briefing session about the Fifth Summit of the Americas that took place in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago; this session will assess the results of the Summit and the future of Inter-American Relations.
The event, organized as part of the OAS Policy Roundtables series, will take place next Friday, May 1st from 10am to 12pm, and will feature presentations from civil society, academia, and the private sector representatives as well as from think tanks and government officials.
The program for this Roundtable includes two panel discussions. The first panel will have presentations from José Miguel Insulza, Secretary General of the Organization of American States; Ambassador Jeffrey Davidow, White House Advisor for the Summit of the Americas and President of the Institute of the Americas, and Marcelo Varela-Erasheva, Associate Director for the Americas Program, at the Carter Center.
The second panel will feature Ambassador Francisco Villagrán de León, Ambassador of Guatemala to the United States; Representative Eliot L. Engel, Chairman of the Subcommittee on the Western Hemisphere of the U.S. House of Representatives; and Enrique Arturo de Obarrio, Vice President of the organization ‘Private Sector of the Americas’.
Each panel will be followed by a debate among panelists and by a question and answer session. The XVI OAS Policy Roundtable will be webcast live at (www.oas.org).
