OAS Permanent Council to Receive IACHR Report on Human Rights Violations in Venezuela in Electoral Context

The Permanent Council of the Organization of American States (OAS) will hold a regular meeting on Wednesday, January 15, at 10:00 EST (15:00 GMT), in the Simon Bolivar room, at OAS headquarters in Washington, D.C., to receive the report of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) entitled “Venezuela: Grave Human Rights Violations in the Electoral Context,” to commemorate International Holocaust Remembrance Day, to receive the “Thirty-Seventh Semi-Annual Report of the Mission to Support the Peace Process in Colombia of the Organization of American States (MAPP-OAS),” and the “Final Report of the Observation Mission of the Organization of American States for the Selection of Judges of the Supreme Court of Justice and Courts of Appeal in Guatemala,” among other topics.
