Each year the OAS Secretary General publishes a proposed Program-Budget for the coming calendar year. The OAS General Assembly meets in a Special Session to approve the Program-Budget. Find these documents from 1998-2013 here.
Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

Mexican Jorge Saggiante Confirmed as OAS Executive Secretary for Integral Development

The Inter-American Council for Integral Development (CIDI) of the Organization of American States (OAS) today unanimously confirmed Jorge Saggiante, a Mexican national, as Executive Secretary, as proposed by the Secretary General of the hemispheric organization, Jose Miguel Insulza.
At a special meeting of CIDI in Washington, DC, Secretary General Insulza said that as acting Executive Secretary, Saggiante had shown "a great capacity to open the Secretariat to knowledge, debate, and participation, at a time in which at the OAS we are trying to focus our activities in more prosperous areas of our institutional tasks."
For his part, Executive Secretary Saggiante thanked the leader of the hemispheric organization for his " support and trust" to nominate him, and enunciated the areas in which he intends to focus his efforts: "Optimize the use of financial and human resources ; support and strengthen the ministerial and high authorities process of dialogue as a substantial element of cooperation; facilitate interaction between the various political processes of dialogue; promote horizontal cooperation among countries as an effective new form of partnership; and ensure that programs, projects, and activities of cooperation have a direct and clear link with the priorities that are defined in ministerial and high authorities processes.”
