Each year the OAS Secretary General publishes a proposed Program-Budget for the coming calendar year. The OAS General Assembly meets in a Special Session to approve the Program-Budget. Find these documents from 1998-2013 here.
Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

OAS Secretary General Met with Chile's Defense Minister

The Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), José Miguel Insulza, today met with the Minister of Defense of Chile, Andres Allamand, who is in a working visit to Washington, DC.
During the meeting, they discussed the current political situation in the Hemsiphere and the agenda of the next Summit of the Americas in Cartagena, including issues related to security, natural disasters, and other topics of interest to the hemispheric body and the Chilean Minister.
Also topic of conversation at the meeting between Insulza and Allamand was the recent High Level Hemispheric Meeting against Transnational Organized Crime held in Mexico City, which enabled a thorough discussion about the search for coordinated mechanisms to deal with organized crime.
