OAS Observation Mission to Bolivian Elections Deployed Experts in Seven Departments of the Country

The Electoral Observation Mission of the Organization of American States (EOM/OAS) to the regional elections in Bolivia today deployed experts and observers in 7 departments of the country to observe voting, the vote count, and the transmission of results.

The Chief of Mission, the former President of Guatemala Álvaro Colom, who was designated for the position by the Secretary General of the OAS, José Miguel Insulza, observed the process in several locations in La Paz and El Alto during a tour of voting centers this morning.
