Each year the OAS Secretary General publishes a proposed Program-Budget for the coming calendar year. The OAS General Assembly meets in a Special Session to approve the Program-Budget. Find these documents from 1998-2013 here.
Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

OAS Secretary General Received the Minister of Defense of Peru

The Secretary General of the Organization of the American States (OAS), José Miguel Insulza , today received the Minister of Defense of Perú, Pedro Cateriano, at the headquarters of the Organization in Washington, DC.
During the meeting, the two discussed the global economic and political situation. In addition, Minister Cateriano delivered a detailed report on the preparations for the XI Conference of Defense Ministers of the Americas, which will be held in the Peruvian city of Arequipa on October 13-14. Secretary General Insulza said the OAS assigns “the greatest importance” to the meeting.
Created in 1995, the Conference was designed to provide the Ministers of Defense with a venue to discuss topics such as strengthening of confidence and security building measures, operations in support of peace, civil-military relations, and emerging threats such as transnational organized crime and terrorism.
Present at the meeting were the Permanent Representative of Peru to the hemispheric Organization, Juan Mayor Federico Jiménez; the Chief of Staff of the Secretary General, Hugo de Zela; the Secretary for Multidimensional Security of the OAS, Adam Blackwell; and representatives of the armed forces of Peru to the Inter-American Defense Board (IADB).
