Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

OAS Secretary General Receives Minister of Foreign Affairs and Vice President-elect of Panama

The Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), José Miguel Insulza, met today with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Panama, Francisco Álvarez de Soto, and the Vice President-elect of Panama, Isabel Saint Malo, in the context of the forty-fourth regular session of the OAS General Assembly, which is deliberating under the central theme "Development with Social Inclusion."
At the meeting, Minister Álvarez de Soto and Secretary General Insulza spoke about the upcoming Summit of the Americas, to be held in 2015 in the Central American country. For her part, the Vice President-elect, Saint Malo, reaffirmed the new government's commitment to the OAS and highlighted the role of the Organization as the foremost policy forum in the Hemisphere.
The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Foreign Minister of Panama, Mayra Arosemena; the Permanent Representative of Panama to the OAS, Arturo Vallarino; the OAS Secretary for External Relations, Alfonso Quiñonez; and the OAS Representative to the OAS, Pedro Vuskovic.
