OAS Secretary General Receives Secretary General of the Foreign Ministry of Greece

The Secretary General of the Organization of American States, José Miguel Insulza, today received the Secretary General of the Foreign Ministry of Greece, Anastassis Mitsialis, and the Permanent Observer of Greece to the OAS, Christos Panagopoulos, at the headquarters of the Organization in Washington, DC.

During the meeting, Greece announced a contribution to the OAS Policy Roundtable program, which promotes an informed dialogue between policy analysts, professionals and diplomats from the region. Secretary General expressed his gratitude for the contribution to one of the fundamental tasks of the Organization. Moreover, the OAS leader and the Greek representatives discussed the pillars of the Organization, the ongoing process of prioritization of the mandates of the OAS and the most important political events in Latin America over the last year.

The OAS Secretary for External Relations, Alfonso Quiñonez, was also present at the meeting.
