Each year the OAS Secretary General publishes a proposed Program-Budget for the coming calendar year. The OAS General Assembly meets in a Special Session to approve the Program-Budget. Find these documents from 1998-2013 here.
Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

OAS Secretary General Meets with Chair and Director of Chilean Electoral Service

The Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), José Miguel Insulza, today met in Santiago with the Chair of the Board of the Chilean Electoral Service (SERVEL), Patricio Santamaria, as well as its Director, Elizabeth Cabrera.
During the meeting, Secretary General Insulza thanked Chairman Santamaría and Director Cabrera on the invitation received by the hemispheric institution to attend the presidential elections held last Sunday in the South American country. The head of the hemispheric Organization congratulated the Chilean electoral officials on the excellent work carried out by the SERVEL during the elections, which he said stood out due to its diligence and transparency, something that boosts the country’s image.
In response to the invitation, the OAS leader appointed as his representative the Organization’s Secretary for Legal Affairs, Jean Michel Arrighi, who was accompanied by the Chief of the Electoral Observation Section of the Department for Electoral Cooperation and Observation, Alejandro Urízar. It was the first time that the OAS has sent delegates to an election in Chile.
