The Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), José Miguel Insulza, met today with the permanent observers of Finland and Turkey at the headquarters of the hemispheric institution in Washington, D.C.

The OAS Secretary General spoke with the Ambassador of Finland, Ritva Koukku-Ronde, and the Ambassador of Turkey, Namik Tan, who chair the "Group of Friends of Mediation" and who invited him to participate in the meeting to take place next week in New York, within the framework of the United Nations (UN) General Assembly.
