Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

Secretary General Receives the Ambassador of the League of Arab States

The Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), José Miguel Insulza, today received the new Ambassador of the League of Arab States to the White House, Raja Mohammed Abdullah Al-Hussaini Al Sharif, in a protocolary visit in his office in Washington, DC.
During the meeting, the two discussed the current economic and political environment in the hemisphere and also explored the possibility of signing a cooperation agreement that would strengthen relations between the two organizations.
The OAS Secretary of External Relations, Ambassador Alfonso Quiñonez, and the Director of the Department of International Affairs, Jorge Sanín, were also present at the meeting.
