Cooperation Exchanges are face-to-face meetings of one or more institutions with their collaborators to work on a shared problem of policy or practice in STEM teacher education.

Near the end of Project Team cycles, institutions are encouraged to apply for a Cooperation Exchange to make site visit to other institutions or relevant partners to work on or learn about potential solutions to the problem they have identified. Cooperation Exchanges provide funding for travel, meals, and accommodations for the traveling parties up to $10,000 USD.

If awarded, institutions must complete a letter of agreement detailing the commitments expressed in the proposal application. At the time of completion of the Cooperation Exchange, an interim report must be submitted, and a final report approximately one year later must account for any impacts that might have resulted from the exchange.
