mediation
In the appeals section of the model
law, Sec. 47, there is provision for limited mediation. I wonder why
mediation would only be available when "it is apparent to the Commission
that withholding information is not justified." In that case the Commission
should rule that the information be released rather than mediate, no?
Rather, perhaps it would be better to clarify that mediation is available
upon request from either of the parties, or on the Commission's own
decision. I would welcome others thoughts on this . . . Laura |
