Dear Mr. Ambassador:
I am pleased to refer to General Assembly
resolutions AG/RES. 1409 (XXVI-O/96), “Confidence- and Security-Building
Measures in the Americas,” and AG/RES. 1623 (XXIX-O/99), “Confidence- and
Security-Building in the Americas,” each of which in its 10th operative
paragraph refers to the register of experts on confidence- and security-building
measures.
In that connection, the Government of Mexico has
appointed the following national experts:
