* The Permanent Representative of Jamaica
has advised that due to an impending change in assignment, he will be unable
to perform the functions of Chair for the first trimester of 2004.
Therefore, in accordance with Article 6 of the Rules of Procedure and
Article 7 of the Statute of the Permanent Council, the Vice Chair, the
Permanent Representative of Canada, will assume the Chair as of January 1,
2004.
** Brazil will assume the Vice Chair as of
January 1, 2004.
