CONSIDERING resolution AG/RES. 2 (XXXVII-E/09) which suspended “the Honduran state from the exercise of its right to participate in the Organization of American States, in accordance with Article 21 of the Inter-American Democratic Charter” as a result of the coup d’etat against the constitutional government of that country on June 28, 2009;

NOTING WITH SATISFACTION the Agreement for National Reconciliation and Consolidation of the Democratic System in the Republic of Honduras signed at Cartagena de Indias on May 22, 2011, by the President of the Republic of Honduras, Porfirio Lobo, and the former President of the Republic of Honduras, José Manuel Zelaya Rosales, witnessed by the mediators Juan Manuel Santos Calderón, President of the Republic of Colombia, and Hugo Chávez Frías, President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, and noting also its Follow-Up Committee,

RESOLVES:
