Press Accreditation Process for OAS General Assembly in El Salvador Closes May 17

May 17 will be the last day for journalists, photojournalists, cameramen and other members of the press to become accredited to cover the Forty-first Regular Session of the General Assembly of the Organization of American States (OAS), to be held June 5 to 7 in El SalvadorA credentials request form may be found at the following link: www.oas.org/garspress

The General Assembly is the topmost political institution within the OAS and its decisions guide the activities and priorities of the hemispheric organization for the year ahead. Its mandates cover a wide range of subjects, including the promotion of democratic governance, the strengthening of human rights, hemispheric security , and other issues of common concern pertaining to security, among other areas.
