5.4.3 Mortality of persons held in Prisons, Penal Institutions or Correctional Institutions: Deaths due to natural causes
Total number of deaths due to natural causes, of persons held in Prisons, Penal institutions or Correctional institutions. Death due to natural causes is defined as death by causes that are primarily attributable to an illness or an internal malfunction of the body not directly influenced by external forces, for example death from age-associated diseases, heart attacks or complications from virus infections.
