The OAS Department for Electoral Cooperation and Observation hosted the Third General Meeting of the ACEO in Kingston, Jamaica.
The meeting was held in collaboration with the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) and the Electoral Office of Jamaica. The agenda items included political party and campaign financing, electoral technologies in the Caribbean, the role of civil society, political parties and the media to support electoral management bodies and a roundtable discussion on the next steps for the ACEO. The meeting lasted two days, from inauguration to concluding remarks.
