Consultative Committees
Members
Each Consultative Committee is chaired by the National
Director of the Project in its country. The Technical Coordinator acts as
the Technical Secretary in the meetings of the committee.
The following institutions and organizations are
members of the Consultative Committee of Costa Rica:

MINAE, represented by the National Director of the
Project in Costa Rica.

NGO, local governments, universities, research
institutions, and governmental institutions of Costa Rica responsible
for the execution of basic studies and demonstration projects.
The following institutions and organizations are
members of the Consultative Committee of Nicaragua:

MARENA, represented by the National Director of the
Project in Nicaragua.

NGO, local governments, universities, research
institutions, and governmental institutions of Costa Rica responsible
for the execution of basic studies and demonstration projects.
The Chief for the Geographic Area II (Latin America)
of the OSDE/OAS or whoever he appoints on his behalf, and the National
Director and Technical Coordinator of the Technical Unit in the other
country participate as observers.
Other NGO, local governments, universities, research
institutions, and governmental institutions of Costa Rica and Nicaragua,
and projects related to the integrated management of water resources and
the sustainable development under execution in the Costa Rican or
Nicaraguan side, respectively, will be able to participate in their
respective committee.
