Consultative Committees
Two Consultative Committees are created one in each
country. They are integrated by the executing institutions and
organizations of the basic studies and demonstration projects, and other
relevant stakeholders involved in the integrated management of water
resources and the sustainable development of the San Juan River Basin and
its Coastal Zone. The Consultative Committees analyze the execution of the
different components of the Project, propose coordination and follow-up
mechanisms and provide recommendations for the planning and execution of
the Project and for ensuring coordination with other activities that are
being carried out in the Project area.
Creation
The Consultative Committees are created by the MINAE,
in Costa Rica, and the MARENA, in Nicaragua, according to the procedures
and instruments established by the ministries for that end.
