Mark Lambrides has eighteen years of experience as
a leader in sustainable energy project promotion and development in
Latin America and the Caribbean. As the Division Chief for Energy and
Climate Change in the Department of Sustainable Development at the
Organization of American States (OAS), Mr. Lambrides provides support to
senior government officials and other key stakeholders in Latin American
and Caribbean on energy sector and related climate change matters. Key
areas of assistance include: the development of innovative energy
programs and projects; support for the formulation of clean energy
policies and regulations; the facilitation of project financing; the
delivery of capacity building initiatives; and the brokering of
relationships between project developers, electric utilities, and other
host country stakeholders. Mr. Lambrides received his M.A. in
International Relations from The Johns Hopkins University - The Paul H.
Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), and his B.A. in
Political Science and Spanish from Kalamazoo College |
