Ms Charlene Solozano is
the Planning and Financial Officer of the Energy and Climate Change
Mitigation Section of the Department of Sustainable Development. She
has been with the Department since 1996 and has worked on many
projects including the Caribbean Disaster Mitigation Project (CDMP),
Post Georges Disaster Mitigation (PGDM), Renewable Energy Initiative
of the Americas (REIA), Geo-Caraibes, and the Energy and Climate
Partnership of the Americas (ECPA).
She holds a B.A. in
Political Science from Howard University in Washington, DC. She is
from the fabulous island of St. Lucia and is married to Darren
Solozano and has two beautiful children Tristen and Sandyn.
