Charlene Solozano joined the staff of the
Department of Sustainable
Development in September 1996 and is the Caribbean
Division Project Coordinator. She has worked on projects such as the
Caribbean Disaster Mitigation Project (CDMP), the Post Georges Disaster
Mitigation (PGDM) project, the Renewable Energy in the Americas
Initiative (REIA) and the Geo-Caraibes project. She holds a Bachelor of
Arts degree from Howard University in Washington, DC. Mrs. Solozano is
from the beautiful island of Saint Lucia. She is married to Darren
Solozano, they have a son named Tristen Noah and a dog named Puffy.
