St Kitts Nevis, Bolivia, Costa Rica and Uruguay.
Mrs. Elvira Mendez from Belize is the
President of The Organization of the Women of Americas. This
organization was formed in 1997 and comprises of lady
Ambassadors, wives of Ambassadors, spouses of the Secretary
General and Assistant Secretary General of the OAS and
associate members. This is a charitable organization that is
sensitive to the needs of women and children, and has
donated to various charities throughout the hemisphere.
