The Office for Sustainable Development and Environment assists countries and/or sectors in the analysis of natural hazard information and the preparation of disaster reduction programs for implementation at the national and regional levels.

Central

America

Under the OAS-Central American System for Integration (SICA) agreement, the OSDE has been providing assistance to CEPREDENAC and collaborating with regional institutions (CAPRE, COCATRAM, CEAC, CECC, COCESNA, COMTELCA, CORECA, OIRSA) in preparation of a regional and sectoral natural disaster reduction plan. 1994 to 1996.
