Executive Order No. 85-3 was superseded by Executive Order No. 96-2 of February 29, 1996. Due to the length of the text of the Staff Rules appended to Executive Order 85-3, these have not been included. THE SECRETARY GENERAL,

In exercise of the powers conferred upon him by Articles 115 and 119 of the Charter of the Organization and Articles 8 and 11 of the General Standards to Govern the Operations of the General Secretariat,

RESOLVES:

First: The official text of the Staff Rules and its appendices shall be that appended.

Second: Repeals and Amendments. This Executive Order supersedes all present norms, rules, regulations and practices of the General Secretariat to the contrary.

Third: Effective Date. This Executive Order shall take effect on the date on which it is signed. The change of Rule 106.1(b) shall be retroactive to November 18, 1983.
