Mrs. Rosario Santos is the Secretary of the Legal Advisor to the Secretary General. Mrs. Santos entered the General Secretariat in January, 1980. She joined the legal area in July, 2000, as a Secretary to the former Assistant Secretary for Legal Affairs. From 1992 to July, 2000, she worked as an Assistant of the two former Chiefs of Staff to the Assistant Secretary General. She also worked in the Department of Human Resource Services as Secretary to the Director, and before that in the Recruitment Division. Mrs. Santos also worked in the Department of Education; the Inter-American Commission of Women and the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights. She holds a degree in Secretarial Science, and is also a Notary Public. Mrs. Santos was born in El Salvador. |
