Maria Julieta Del Valle

 

 Marķa Julieta Del Valle joined the Department of Legal Services (DLS) as an attorney in May 2023. Before joining the General Secretariat of the Organization of American States (GS/OAS), Ms. Del Valle worked at the Office of Ethics of the Inter-American Development Bank Group (IADB) as a Prevention Consultant, and prior to that professional experience, she worked at the Ethics and Business Conduct Department of the World Bank Group (WBG), at the Business Integrity Review Unit, and at the Advisory, Training and Values Unit as a Consultant. From 2014 to 2020, Ms. Del Valle held different positions at the Administrative and Tax Trial Court No. 8 of the Judicial branch of the City of Buenos Aires. In parallel, she volunteered for the Civil Association for Equality and Justice (ACIJ) and for the Public Interest and Human Rights Clinic of the Human Rights Center of the University of Buenos Aires Law School, reviewing cases in which the violation of Human Rights was alleged.

Ms. Del Valle graduated with honors from University of Buenos Aires (UBA) Law School, with a specialization in Public International Law and in Administrative Law. Ms. Del Valle was awarded a scholarship by the UBA to pursue an exchange program at Sciences Po, Paris School of International Affairs. At the UBA, she was a Teaching Assistant in the Administrative Law and Public International Law courses. Ms. Del Valle also holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in General Legal Studies with a certificate in International Human Rights Law from Georgetown University (USA) and she is a Fulbright Alumna.

Ms. Del Valle is from Argentina. She speaks Spanish, English and French fluently.
