OBSERVATIONS: This Convention supersedes the Treaty of 1902 (A-7), and the Convention of 1906 (A-12). It was superseded by the Convention of 1923 (A-20), and later by the Convention of 1929 (B-7). The latter superseded the Convention of 1923 (A-20).
The offices that were to be established at Havana and Rio de Janeiro to centralize the registration of trade marks were not organized because the Convention was not ratified by a sufficient number of States.
