January 8 to February 26, 2007: Period allotted for the Secretariat to prepare the SIX draft preliminary reports corresponding to the second group of States (Article 23, (a) and (b) of the Rules of Procedure).

  February 27 to March 26, 2007: Period allotted for the translation of the SIX draft preliminary reports corresponding to the second group of States and for the Secretariat to send the drafts to the members of the preliminary review subgroups (Article 23 (a) and (b) of the Rules of Procedure).

  March 27 to April 16, 2007: Period allotted for members of the preliminary review subgroups to transmit any comments they may have on the draft preliminary reports to the Secretariat and for the Secretariat to forward those comments to the States Parties under review (Article 23 (c) and (d) of the Rules of Procedure) .

April 17 to 23, 2007: Period allotted for the translation of the comments from the members of the preliminary review subgroups and transmittal to the States Parties under review of the draft preliminary reports prepared by the Secretariat and of the subgroups’ comments.

  April 24 to May 14, 2007: Period allotted for the States Parties under review to respond to the comments from the subgroup and the Secretariat (Article 23 (e) of the Rules of Procedure).

April 25 to May 25, 2007: Period for the SIX States Parties that are part of the third group to reply to the questionnaire, and for civil society organizations to provide information with respect to those States, pursuant to the Rules of Procedure and Other Provisions.

May 15 to 28, 2007: Period allotted for the Secretariat to preparethe revised versions of the SIX draft preliminary reports corresponding to the second group of States (Article 23 (f) of the Rules of Procedure).

June 12 to 24, 2007: Period allotted for Committee members to consider the draft preliminary reports (Article 23 (f) of the Rules of Procedure).  

June 20 to 22, 2007: Meetings of the SIX preliminary review subgroups (Article 24 of the Rules of Procedure).

June 25 to 30, 2007: Eleventh Plenary Meeting of the Committee.
