Abuse of functions (ICCS 07033)
ABUSE OF FUNCTIONS is defined as the performance of or failure to perform an act, in violation of laws, by a public official in the discharge of his or her functions for the purpose of obtaining an undue advantage for himself or herself or for another person or entity.
INCLUSIONS: Abuse of function; nepotism; abuse of authority; abuse of public office; abuse of official position.
EXCLUSIONS: A course of action demanded from a person by another person through the use of force, threat, intimidation, threat to reveal compromising information, or the threat of defamation (0205) Apply all exclusions listed in 0703
