Opening Remarks by Mr. Marcelo Kohan, Chair of the III CITEL Assembly and Secretary of Communications of Argentina

Señor Marcelo Kohan. Chair of the III CITEL Assembly and Secretary of Communications of Argentina mentioned in his opening address that it was regrettable that due to the economic conditions in his country it was impossible to host this important meeting of CITEL.  He also indicated that the government of Argentina is taking very seriously the responsibility that it is assuming as the Chair of the Permanent Executive Committee of CITEL and that he is looking forward to advancing the activities of CITEL which are so important to the economic growth of all the countries of the Americas and that his country was pleased to accept the leadership of CITEL for the next four years.
