OEA ABRE PÁGINA NA INTERNET PARA RECEBER SUGESTÕES RELACIONADAS COM A CARTA DEMOCRÁTICA INTERAMERICANA

 
 A Organização dos Estados Americanos (OEA) abriu uma página na Internet para receber sugestões e comentários ao texto da futura Carta Democrática Interamericana.
  A página busca estimular a participação de ONGs, institutos de pesquisa, universidades e outros órgãos da sociedade civil na elaboração da nova Carta.
  A nova página na Internet vai estar aberta para receber as sugestões e opiniões da sociedade civil  entre 9 de julho e 10 de agosto de 2001.
   A nova página também pode ser visitada a partir do portal da OEA em Internet (http://www.oas.org)
   O texto final da Carta democrática Interamericana vai ser aprovado pelos representantes dos 34 estados membros da OEA durante uma Assembléia Geral Extraordinária, a ser realizada em Lima, Perú, em 10 de setembro próximo.
  

THE OAS OPENS INTERNET PAGE TO RECEIVE VIEWS ON THE INTER-AMERICAN DEMOCRATIC CHARTER

     The Organization of American States (OAS) opened an Internet page to receive suggestions and comments on the text of the future Inter-American Democratic Charter.  The page is intended to encourage participation by nongovernmental organizations, research institutes, universities, and other sectors of civil society in the preparation of the new Charter.
    The new Internet page  will be open to receive suggestions and views from civil society from July 9 to August 10, 2001.  It will also be possible to submit views on the future Democratic Charter to the official OAS Web page (http://www.oas.org).
   The definitive text of the Inter-American Democratic Charter will be approved by the representatives of the 34 OAS member states at the special session of the General Assembly that will be held in Lima, Peru, on September 10.

LA OEA ABRE PAGINA EN INTERNET PARA RECIBIR OPINIONES SOBRE LA CARTA DEMOCRATICA INTERAMERICANA

     La Organización de los Estados Americanos (OEA) abrió una página en Internet para recibir sugerencias y comentarios al texto de la futura Carta Democrática Interamericana. La página busca estimular la participación de las organizaciones no gubernamentales, institutos de investigación, universidades y otros órganos de la sociedad civil en la elaboración de la nueva Carta.
     La nueva página de Internet (http://www.oas.org/charter/esp/charter_es.htm) estará abierta para recibir las sugerencias y opiniones de la sociedad civil entre el 9 de julio y el 10 de agosto de 2001. A través de la página oficial de la OEA (http://www.oas.org) también se va a poder enviar opiniones sobre la futura Carta Democrática.
     El texto final de la Carta Democrática Interamericana será aprobado por los representantes de los 34 Estados miembros de la OEA durante una Asamblea General Extraordinaria que se realizará en Lima, Perú, el 10 de setiembre próximo.

L’OEA OUVRE UN SITE SUR  INTERNET POUR RECEVOIR LES OPINIONS RELATIVES À LA CHARTE DÉMOCRATIQUE INTERAMÉRICAINE

L’Organisation des États Américains (OEA) a ouvert un site sur Internet pour recevoir les suggestions et observations relatives à la rédaction de la future Charte Démocratique Interaméricaine.  Ce site voudrait encourager la participation des organisations non gouvernementales, des institutions de recherche, des universités et d’autres organes de la société civile à l’élaboration de la nouvelle Charte.
Le nouveau site sur Internet sera ouvert à la société civile pour recevoir ses suggestions et opinions du 9 juillet au 10 août 2001. À travers le site officiel de l’OEA (http://www.oas.org) il sera également possible d’acheminer des opinions sur la future Charte Démocratique.
La rédaction finale de la Charte Démocratique Interaméricaine sera approuvée par les représentants des 34 États membres de l’OEA au cours d’une Assemblée générale qui se réunira en Session extraordinaire le 10 septembre prochain à Lima (Pérou).
