Objectives:  This program seeks to train public officials with an entrepreneurial nature who, considering the institutional, sectoral and social opportunities in the field of public policies related to disability, can strengthen their capacities to a) increase their capacity to make strategic decisions and participate in the development of institutional improvements in the public sector, b) increase the quality and effectiveness in the formulation, implementation, execution and evaluation of public policies, and c) provide services with efficiency, quality and equity.


Public:  Directed to directors and managers of local, national or regional institutions linked to intervention programs and projects oriented towards persons with disabilities; to professionals responsible for achieving inclusion processes within their organizations; and to the members of the families who wish to have an active participation in the work for the recognition and exercise of the rights of people with disabilities.


Mode of Study: The course will be entirely dictated online (Internet) through the Virtual Classroom of the Educational Portal of the Americas and requires a weekly commitment of at least 14 hours, as well as computer skills.


Language:  Spanish.


Course duration:  Nineteen weeks.
