OAS Preliminary Mission Arrives in Mexico ahead of June 7 Elections
The Secretary General of the OAS, José Miguel Insulza, designated the former President of Costa Rica, Laura Chinchilla Miranda, as Chief of Mission. Former President Chinchilla is currently in Mexico City, in order to better understand the political situation and the progress of the elections in the country.
